Jets edge Texans, 30-27

The New York Jets pulled another rabbit out of the hate in a 30-27 come-from-behind win over the Houston Texans.

New York looked like they were finished after falling behind by three with 55 seconds to play, but quarterback Mark Sanchez once again rallied the troops.

Amazingly, it was wide receiver Santonio Holmes who once again scored the game-winning touchdown, something he has now done three weeks in a row.

A lot of people were skeptical that they acquired him for just 12 games, but Holmes sure has made a huge different in a short period of time with the Jets. ( Read More…)

Jets rally past Browns in OT, 26-20

The New York Jets won their second consecutive overtime game with a 26-20 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

It was the second straight week in which the Jets won a game in the final minute of overtime on a Santonio Holmes touchdown.

The Jets played from behind for a large majority of the game despite knocking both Matthew Stafford and Jason Hanson out of the game.

Quarterback Mark Sanchez finished the game with decent numbers, but it was a struggle for much of the day.

A good amount of his yardage came during the final minutes of the fourth quarter and one pass to Santonio Holmes in overtime. ( Read More…)

Jets shut out by Packers, 9-0

The New York Jets offense put together a troubling performance in an ugly 9-0 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Coming off of a bye, you would have expected the Jets to come out fired up and prepared to play football.

Instead, the defense held up their end of the bargain but the offense struggled behind quarterback Mark Sanchez.

Everyone seems to think Sanchez has turned the corner, but I’m not sure he is destined for stardom. ( Read More…)
