New York Jets linebacker Calvin Pace will miss the next four-to-six weeks because of a broken right foot.
The Jets won’t give a timetable for his return, but he has been ruled out for the season opener against the Ravens.
Pace served a four-game suspension last year, and the Jets managed to go 3-1 during his absence.
Head coach Rex Ryan has since reached out to linebacker Adalius Thomas in hopes of bringing him on board. ( Read More…)

It is looking more and more unlikely that New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis will play this season.
Head coach Rex Ryan has said many times over that the team is preparing as if he won’t play.
Owner Woody Johnson recently said that the team is not close to a contract agreement with Revis and he probably won’t play this year.
It’s a big gamble by Revis to sit this year out, especially if a lockout occurs next season. ( Read More…)

The New York Jets, of all teams, are considering the possibility of signing wide receiver Terrell Owens.
The Jets have made a number of big offseason splashes, especially when it comes to bringing in veterans or troubled players.
It’s hard to see exactly where Owens would fit on a team that already has wideouts Jerricho Cotchery, Braylon Edwards and Santonio Holmes.
Holmes has been suspended and will miss the first four games of the season, so Owens could fill in for him. ( Read More…)
